Homebrew Share at Pi Bar on Sunday, Sept 9th!

It’s been a couple months since the last SFHG Homebrew Share, so undoubtedly everyone will be bringing their latest and greatest creations to Pi Bar for this Share! Likely, that will include some of the SFHG members I’ve heard won ribbons in various homebrew competitions this Summer! As a special bonus, Damian Fagan, the Co-Founder and CEO of Almanac Beer Co, will speak to the crowd for a few minutes about how he made the transition from homebrewer to pro. I suspect Damian will have some brewing tips to pass on and some bottles of Almanac’s latest releases to give away! All the more reason to gun for that People’s Choice award…   Here are the details:

SFHG Homebrew Share at Pi Bar, Noon to 3:00 PM on Sept 9th

Having a good ‘ol time at our last Pi Bar-SFHG Homebrew Share.

The SFHG is  teaming up once again with one of SF’s premier craft beer purveyors for a Homebrew Share! In the past homebrewer’s have shown up with a truly dazzling array of great brew ranging from well crafted IPAs to bizarre sours and even garlic beers! Sampling homebrew doesn’t get much more fun. Everyone gets to  vote for the “People’s Choice” beer and we’ll present an award to the winner — take note, everyone gets a vote but if you don’t bring enough homebrew for everyone to try then it is difficult to win! As usual, $15 gets you in plus all the fantastic Pi pizza and salad you can eat. That’s a heck of a deal! After the Share, feel free to hang out and have something from Pi’s great list of taps!
